Regrouping at Nea Mesimvria
Giorgos Georgiadis’s players met at Nea Mesimvria on Monday afternoon, as they don’t have the luxury to cool down. Preparation for Wednesday’s match against Panathinaikos on Wednesday is already underway.
PAOK players were split into two groups. Those who featured against Asteras Tripolis followed a recovery session with physical condition drills on the pitch and physiotherapy in the gym.
The remaining players went through usual warm-up and then engaged in reduced-pitch games to practice ball circulation and transition.
Stefanos Athanasiadis and Miguel Vítor followed part of the session. Dimitris Konstantinidis continued his gradual recuperation, while Eyal Golasa did physiotherapy.
Róbert Mak remained in the gym for physiotherapy due to pains in the back after a knock sustained in the encounter against Asteras Tripolis. His condition will be assessed on Tuesday. As for Dimitris Salpingidis, he picked up rhythm and also followed part of the session.
PAOK’s next training session will be held on Tuesday at Toumba Stadium and is scheduled to start at 17.30.
