PAOK youth squads on a European tour

Three youth squads of PAOK travel to Germany for the Pfingst Cup and Kids Cup tournaments, to be held from 22 until 25 May. They will visit beautiful cities, play in enviable football installations against teams from all over Europe and beyond and will meet families eager to offer their hospitality.

PAOK U9, U10 and U11 squads board a flight to Düsseldorf in the morning of 22 May, embarking on a trip of experience gathering.

PAOK U9s go to Leverkusen for the Kids Cup tournament. In their group, PAOK will get to face ATC’65 Hengelo (Netherlands), FSV Waiblingen Schwarz (Germany), Käpylän Pallo (Finland), SV Schlebusch 1923 (Germany) and SV Werder Bremen (Germany). Each match lasts 13 minutes.

PAOK U9 squad consists of: Stefanos Anastasiadis, Konstantinos Koutroulidis, Thiago Romano, Panagiotis Tsitskas, Ioannis Chatzinas, Konstantinos Chatzigavriil, Dimitris Chatzidis, Marios Kalaitsidis, Konstantinos Kontonikolaou, Tryfon Kalioglou, Vasilis Papageorgiou, Stefanos Tzimas and Maximos Routsis.

The players are accompanied by coaches Giorgos Gourtsas and Nikos Papageorgiou, PAOK scout Giannis Avramidis and U6 and U7 coach Maria Exadaktylou.

The U10s will compete in the U10 ΟΚΙ Pfingst Cup 2015 tournament, at Kempen near Düsseldorf. The children have been offered the hospitality of the parents of SV Thomasstadt Kempen Academy pupils. The tournament is held in four cities and boasts the participation of 96 teams. PAOK have been drawn in a group consisting of  Vitesse Arnheim Schwarz, SV Plate, SV Raadt, MSV Duisburg and SV Hulser.

Day 1 schedule (23 May): PAOK – Vitesse, PAOK – SV Plate, Hulser SV – PAOK , PAOK – SV Raadt, Duisburg – PAOK.

PAOK U10 squad consists of: Vasilis Karapatsias, Spyros Angelidis, Maximilian Sznaucner, Stefanos Aliferopoulos, Giorgos Kampouris, Thanasis Panagiotidis, Panagiotis Pekridis, Giorgos Makris, Nikos Mavris, Thomas Avgoustidis, Konstantinos Goumas, Dimitris Papaevangelou, Efrem Fotiadis, Christos Kosidis.

Coaches Andreas Balabanis, Nikos Nikolaidis and Alexandros Foropoulos escort the team.

PAOK U11s, children born in 2004, participate in the U11 LED LENSER Pfingst Cup 2015 tournament and will be accommodated in houses at Solingen near Düsseldorf. The tournament is held in five cities and brings together 150 teams –among them, FC Barcelona, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, FC Porto, Hertha Berlin, São Paulo FC, 1.FSV Mainz 05, FC København, Liverpool FC, Arsenal FC, Beşiktaş JK and Lokomotiv. Each match lasts 15 minutes.

PAOK have been drawn in Group 6 along with Csepel SC, TSV Pattensen, TV Mainz and SSVg 06 Haan.
