Tough test in France for the U14s
PAOK U14s will participate in a high-level international tournament that aims to put a smile on Paul’s face, a 20-year old who has been confined on a wheel chair since the age of three.
Paul is the centre figure in the Européen Baisieux tournament at Lille, to be held from 22 to 25 May. His family have adjusted their lives so that Paul gets to enjoy football and his father, Dominique, a coach at Baisieux Academies, sees to it.

PAOK are looking forward to participating in the tournament, while the senior team of the “Double-Headed Eagle” are also morally supporting the cause.
PAOK U14s will take on Le Havre AC, FC Dinamo București, QPR FC, Olympique Lyonnais, Beşiktaş JK and RC Lens. The other group consists of Feyenoord, Lille OSC, AS Baisieux, Valenciennes FC, Hannover 96, FC København and Royal Mouscron-Péruwelz. Each match lasts 25 minutes.
PAOK’s expedition consists of: Thanasis Batalamas, Anastasios Batalamas, Christos Talichmanidis, Zachos Georgiadis, Thanasis Papavasiliou, Dimitris Xyfilinos, Christos Voutsas, Giorgos Vrakas, Dimitris Dimitrakoudis, Stathis Tachatos, Dimitris Papadopoulos, Anestis Provatidis, Theodoros Pournaras, Dimitris Theodoridis, Spyros Atmatzidis, Konstantinos Boubas.
The team is accompanied by coaches Alexandros Alexiadis and Giannis Ampatzidis, goalkeeping coach Vasilis Petropoulos and physiotherapist Giorgos Gagalis.
The squad will depart from Makedonia Airport on Thursday 21 May, in the evening.
