PAOK U13s to participate in Lennart Johansson tournament
Accustomed to participating in renowned international tournaments and boosted by their experience and success, PAOK U13 leave on Thursday. Their destination is Sweden and the famous Lennart Johansson Academy Trophy tournament, to be held from 15 until 17 May.
In this specific age group, Lennart Johansson tournament features two groups of five sides each. The team to top each group qualifies for the final. PAOK will take on Crystal Palace FC and FC København on Friday 15 May and will face hosts ΑΙΚ and Juventus on 16 May. The other group consists of Liverpool FC, SK Rapid Wien, FC Dynamo Moscow, Stabæk Fotball and FC Honka Espoo.
Each match lasts 50 minutes (two 25 minute-halves)
PAOK U13 group for the trip to Sweden: Konstantinos Balomenos, Ioannis Stavrianidis, Theodoros Kaltsidis, Stefanos Vasilopoulos, Vasilis Katsoulidis, Giorgos Lagonidis, Theodoros Pyrtsos, Aventis Aventisian, Georgios Krimitzas, Georgios Kalaitzis, Vasilios Grosdis, Thomas Karamperis, Anastasios Sapountzis, Anastasios Tselios, Christos Tzolis, Vasilios Altintzis, Dimitrios Theodoridis, Anestis Temertzoglou.
The players will be accompanied by their coaches Angelos Zazopoulos and Ilias Galanopoulos, physical condition trainer Konstantinos Galanos and the team doctor.
The team will depart from Makedonia Airport on Thursday 14 May at 11.00.
