“I fulfilled my dream”
He had been waiting a long time for this moment. His efforts were vindicated. Panagiotis Deligiannidis made his debut for PAOK in the encounter against Panionios at Nea Smyrni.

About his debut with PAOK:
«Since the start of the season, I had to deal with setbacks –a surgery that deprived me of preseason training and then some strains that kept me back. However I believed in myself and managed to fulfill my dream and play for PAOK».
About the team’s performance at Nea Smyrni:
«We came here to win in order to start the play-offs with three points, but we didn’t make it. Panionios need to win or draw in order to avoid relegation. In the second half we were in numerical superiority, created chances but couldn’t convert them».
About the play-offs:
«We only want to win from now on. We want the UEFA Champions League berth and will give it 100% to achieve it. I wish speedy recovery to the guys who were sidelined –hopefully they will return to action quickly because we need them».
