PAOK U20s thrash Levadiakos
PAOK U20s made light work of their match against Levadiakos with a commading display and six goals.
Vladan Ivić’s troops strolled to a comfortable victory offering attractive football and displaying multiple attacking options. PAOK’s youngsters never released their stronghold on the match and returned to their winning ways after the setback against PAS Giannina.
PAOK stormed out of the blocks looking for an early goal –it took them just six minutes to break the deadlock. Syrakos passed the ball to Pouflis, who beat Levadiakos’s goalkeeper with a technical strike. In the 12th minute, Syrakos made the most of a defensive slip-up of the visitors, intercepted the ball and made it 2-0 with a fine shot.
Levadiakos’s defence were caught off guard in the 20th minute as well, when they failed to clear the ball and Dimitriadis extended PAOK’s lead from close range. The visitors were unable to react to this one-way traffic. Kushta wasted a double opportunity for his team’s fourth. Dimitriadis and Panagiotidis also came close in the last stages of the first half.
PAOK returned even more pumped up after the interval. An excellent through-ball by Kushta beat the off-side trap and Syrakos’s ideal finish made it 4-0. The “Double-Headed Eagle” were relentless, pushing for more goals. In the 80th minute, Kushta collected Dimitriadis’s pass, evaded the goalkeeper and scored PAOK’s fifth. Dimitriadis completed his outstanding performance in the last minute of the encounter, with a spectacular direct-free kick that sealed his team’s 6-0 victory.
