Kace lands Best Goal award
Ergys Kace’s belter against AO Kerkyra was the best. There was no doubt about it, but it was confirmed in the Best Goal competition all the same.
When a player of Christian Noboa’s level and personality steps aside to let a teammate take a free kick from a most advantageous spot, it is a well-thought decision. Ergys Kace came up to his teammate’s expectations with a perfect execution, handing PAOK a valuable three-pointer in the encounter against AO Kerkyra. The direct free-kick of the Albanian midfielder was acknowledged by football lovers all over Greece and it was voted Best Goal of matchday 32, in the contest organized by Super League, PSAP and Novasports.
Kace’s strike was voted by 53,2%, prevailing over two highly spectacular and equally crucial goals. Pitu García’s effort in the encounter between Atromitos and PAS Giannina got 32,17% of the vote, while Christos Tzanis’s goal that saw Pantrakikos down Panathinaikos was voted by 14,31%.
