About the victory’s importance:

«Today we boosted our confidence. After two months of bad results, we won and hopefully we will keep doing so».

About his goal:

«Victory was important, not the goal. That’s how I feel about it. We needed it of course, especially after being reduced to ten. Now we have three matches ahead to earn a good starting point for the play-offs».

About the set-pieces he took on Saturday and his chat with Noboa before the goal:

«During the week, our coach had me practice many direct kicks. I am trying to add new elements to my game. We had already agreed that I would take the first free kick on that spot from the left. That’s how it went down».

«My only concern was to curl the ball over the wall».

About the season so far:

«I have done many errors in 2015. I was sent off, got a four-match ban, was cautioned but should have avoided it. All these are valuable lessons. With age, we mature».
