Giorgos Georgiadis conceded an interview to Novasports, ahead of the encounter against AO Kerkyra, to be held at Corfu on Saturday 18 April (kick-off at 19.30). Here is what the Greek coach of PAOK had to say:

How he spent Easter holiday:

«All squad members spent a calm Easter break with our families. We cleared our heads and now we are back to resume our engagements».

Regarding the effect that this break had on the team:

«I believe we needed it. It was a creative break for us, as all players were available to us. The previous break was an international one, meaning many players were away on duty with their respective national teams. Now we managed to work on all stuff we needed to».

On what does their preparation for the AO Kerkyra match focus?

«We want to improve our game both in defence and attack. We know we are up for a tough test against AO Kerkyra, a very organized team always looking to play their game and don’t just focus on their defence. I believe that Mr. Grigoriou has been doing an amazing job these past two years at Corfu and he is one of the main reasons that the team managed to avoid relegation rather comfortably».
