PAOK players held a morning session at Toumba Stadium on Holy Friday and then wished each other “Happy Easter” before setting off for a two-day break. Charles Itandje, Christian Noboa, Ricardo Costa, Miguel Vítor, Sotiris Papagiannopoulos and Răzvan Raț had all been granted a leave of absence by Giorgos Georgiadis.
The session consisted of warm-up drills with changes of direction, adaptations and endurance. Afterwards the players worked on their tactics, ball circulation and possession game in high intensity.
Dimitris Papadopoulos followed only part of training for recuperation reasons. Facundo Pereyra did an MRI for his abdominal muscles pains and it came out clear. Stefanos Athanasiadis who suffers from sciatic pains did physiotherapy. As for Panagiotis Deligiannidis, he picked up his training rhythm in his recovery program. He is expected to return to action after Easter.
PAOK players will return to training on Monday at 18.00 at Toumba Stadium.
