Giorgos Georgiadis spoke to Novasports about the upcoming encounter against SKODA Xanthi in Toumba Stadium. Here is what he had to say:

About the team’s work during the international break:

«Despite having several absentees due to international duty, our players worked well and were focused in training. We are in a good spot. There is will and eagerness to do better».

Whether the international players will be available to play against SKODA Xanthi:

«We need to assess the condition of each player independently, as there is also fatigue from traveling. Everybody is available, except the injured ones of course, and we will monitor them separately in order to decide on the line-up».

About the U20 and U17 players who took part in recent trainings:

«We wanted to see them up close, but also fill the gap in the squad in order to do specific exercises».

About the encounter against SKODA Xanthi:

«We come up against one of Greece’s finest teams –in my opinion, they are at the top four right now. They are in fine form and they mean business. We will try to improve our game and stamp our authority on the match. It’s up to us».
