Lucas Pérez got to play for 79 minutes in the “Santiago Bernabéu”, but his team lost 2-0 to the superior Madrid side. The Spanish midfielder is improving gradually having left behind his injury ordeal.

Lierse SK – Cercle Brugge KSV (Martens) 2-1

Maarten Martens is a regular at Cercle Brugge and featured all 90 minutes against Lierse. However his side lost again and remain in the relegation zone.

SL Benfica – Vitória de Setúbal (Pelkas) 3-0

Portuguese pacesetters SL Benfica had an easy ride against Vitória de Setúbal. Dimitris Pelkas played all 90 minutes.

Pierikos (Mystakidis, Giannoulis) – AEL 0-0

Giannoulis and Mystakidis were in the starting line-up against AEL. They were both substituted off in the dying minutes of the encounter (88’ and 92’ respectively), their coach looking to run out the clock as his team was playing in numerical inferiority.
Iraklis – Eginiakos (Polyzos, Popovic) 2-1

Stefanos Polyzos started the encounter against Iraklis at Kaftanzoglio Stadium and was taken off at half-time, having also been cautioned in the 15th minute. Dimitris Popovic was ruled out due to calf pains.

Tyrnavos – Apollon Kalamaria (Papadopoulos, Panagiotoudis, Qose) 1-0

Panagiotoudis and Papadopoulos featured in the starting line-up of Apollon Kalamaria, who surrendered to Tyrnavos. Papadopoulos stayed on for all 90 minutes, while Panagiotoudis was substituted at half-time. Kristi Qose was an unused sub.
