Having spent most of the season in the infirmary, Lucas was the least downbeat player of Deportivo after their 0-4 thrashing by Barcelona –the reason being his 15-minute cameo in an attempt to get back into competitive rhythm. He hadn’t played since November and now his aim is to line up a streak of appearances in the second round of fixtures.

Vitória de Setúbal (Pelkas) – SC Braga 1-3
Sérgio Conceição’s Braga recorded an away victory over Setúbal. Dimitris Pelkas started the encounter but was substituted off in the 59th minute. After the final whistle, his club set out to appoint a new head coach, as they lie just two points over the relegation zone.

R. Charleroi SC – Cercle Brugge KSV (Martens) 0-2
Maarten Martens made his debut for Cercle Brugge KSV in their important 2-0 away victory over Charleroi. The on loan player from PAOK started the encounter and was taken off 64 minutes later. Cercle Brugge KSV scored their goals in the 79th and 87th minutes. They have 23 points and are three points above the relegation zone.

Agrotikos Asteras – Apollon Kalamaria (Papadopoulos, Panagiotoudis, Qose) 1-1
Only Vasilis Papadopoulos participated in the encounter, coming off the bench in the 73rd minute.

Fokikos – Eginiakos (Polyzos, Popovic) 0-0
Polyzos started the match and was substituted off in the 55th minute, while Dimitris Popovic didn’t feature in the encounter against Fokikos.
