Róbert Mak, a great foreign player who is coming to grips with al that is happening in Greece, spoke to reporters after the Mytilini encounter. Here is what he said:

“I am very experienced in football. However, it’s the first time that I witness stuff like all that happened in the first half. It’s too bad for Greece and Greek football. I don’t know why this is happening, but it’s too bad. We are coming up against not just our rivals, but the referees and the whole of Greece! I understand now why PAOK haven’t won the league in last years. What happened today will only make us stronger and we will be tougher in upcoming games”.

About the penalty he was not awarded: “It was a 50-50 situation. One can either award it or not. He did not”.

About his performance: It’s been a long time since I last played, I was tired. However I made an effort to give my best. We are a very good team and I would like to believe that eventually we will achieve something good”.
