Stefanos Athanasiadis joined normal training on Friday at Toumba Stadium without complaining of pains in the iliopsoas muscle. PAOK skipper recovered from his injury and is at the disposal of Angelos Anastasiadis for the encounter against Atromitos (Sunday 15 February, 19:30).
Dimitris Salpingidis continued his personalized program of physical condition drills and physiotherapy in order to rest his foot and have a chance to play on Sunday.
Panagiotis Glykos has a bruised knee and stayed in the gym for physiotherapy out of precaution. Fanis Tzandaris continued his physical condition program, as he is on the verge of recovering from his groin injury.
After the usual warm-up with ball and 5-2 drills, Friday’s session included work on the players’ finishing and crossing from the flanks and concluded with a training match in half pitch and specific tactical guidelines.
Saturday’s training session will start at noon at Toumba Stadium and afterwards Angelos Anastasiadis will announce the squad that will travel to Athens for the Atromitos game.
