An encouraging draw in the last test

14.08.2014

It was by definition the strongest test for PAOK, as it was the last one before the season kicks off. The rival being one of Europe’s powerhouses, FC Internazionale Milano, added more flavour to it. Angelos Anastasiadis hasn’t diverted from his schedule of two training sessions per day for six weeks now, therefore the players were up for a tough encounter.

Despite the high level of difficulty, the new PAOK satisfied the 16.000 fans who defied heat and holidays. The “Double-Headed Eagle” were never under real threat from the Italian outfit, didn’t shy away from taking the initiative and look for the winner and were a match for Inter who also had their own prova generale ahead of the new season.
