PAOK B defeat Kozani 1-0

29.02.2024

PAOK B had a comfortable afternoon at the Makedonikos Stadium against Kozani, winning 1-0, with the performance being much more convincing than the scoreline suggests in the postponed game from Matchday 22 on Thursday (29.02).

The first half came and went without many scoring chances created by either side, although PAOK B had the initiative. However, Balomenos was called upon to make a good save in the early stages. In the 13th minute, though, Filon won a penalty, which Darelas converted to opening the scoring.

The second 45 minutes was relatively more sluggish, with the visitors pressing, but without creating any meaningful chances, except perhaps on two occasions in which Balomenos reacted comfortably to save, in what was his first appearance in eight months after his injury.

The next game for PAOK’s second string is in Livadia on Monday (03/04) against Levadiakos.

PAOK B: Balomenos, Filon, Tasiouras, Kottas (44′ Scznauczner), Pantekidis, Tsopouroglou, Giaxis, Spyrakos (85′ Bradonic), Goumas (62′ Sapovalov), Darelas (85′ Kitsakis), Kanis (62′ Ninua).

Kozani: Bogdanovich, Panos, Tatsis, Souliotis (86′ Kanoulas), Itsios, Papadopoulos I. (86′ Psaltis), Koufas (46′ Iakos), Siatravanis (66′ Pozatzidis), Kallergis, Maximovic, Grammenos (72′ Maganic).
