Great football, six goals, records and... Merry Christmas!
A rampant PAOK thrashed Kifissia 6-0 in Kaisariani, recording their biggest away win in the club’s history in the league, breaking another record and ending 2023 in perfect fashion.
Razvan Lucescu’s team were unstoppable. They played the football they wanted, and recorded a historic victory in the last game of the year.
PAOK went ahead early on through Konstantelias in the 13th minute, after an assist from Murg. After that breakthrough, Kifissia fought back and missed two good chances to equalize midway through the half. But following that, the visitors never looked back.
Brandon found the net in the 28th minute with a nice finish after a pass from Despodov , before Despodov then took on the role of executor, scoring from an assit by Konstantelias inthe 34th minute to make it 3-0.
In the secomd half the game was all one-way traffic. PAOK did not take their foot off the gas at all and chalked up another three goals, while they also had a goal ruled out for offside.
In the 52nd minute Murg made it 4-0 with a fine placed effort, following another assist from Despodov , while the Bulgarian then completed a hat-trick of assists for Ozdoev to score in the 72nd minute with an incredible header for 5-0.
The icing on the cake was applied by Haris Tsingaras, who scored from the rebound following Sastre’s attempt that was blocked initially on the goalline for the final 6-0 scoreline.
