PAOK B defeated in Halastra
PAOK B suffered their second consecutive defeat, losing 4-2 to Kabaniakos in Halastra, in the postponed game from Matchday 1 of the Super League 2 play outs.
Although PAOK started the game the better side, within two minutes the hosts scored twice. In the 16th minute, Lagonidis opened the scoring with a header, and in the 18th minute, Youkoudis doubled the advantage with a set piece. In the 33rd minute, Kabaniakos also hit the crossbar, while in the 39th minute, they went 3-0 up with Youkoudis again on target.
With their backs against the wall, PAOK B had no choice but to try and fight back. In the 48th minute, Kanis won a penalty that Darelas executed perfectly and in the 53th minute, Pantekidis reduced the deficit to 3-2, taking advantage of Bradonijc’s cross. And even though the visitors looked like they could get an equalizer, Kabaniakos scored in the 63rd minute to make it 4-2 with Totskas on target, and the game petered out after that.
The next match for the Double-headed Eagle’s second string is a home clash against Anagennisi Karditsa next Sunday (14.04).
