Under-19's draw 2-2 with Aris
PAOK’s under-19 side dropped two points in the race for the Super League championship, as they were held to a draw (2-2) by Aris in their Matchday 6 contest, which took place at midday on Saturday in Souroti.
It is the first time that Tsiapakidis’s and Hagan’s team have dropped points this season, after three consecutive victories. The next game is the away match against Levadeiakos.
PAOK took the lead in the second minute with a wonderful placed effort by Papageorgiou, who took advantage of Kosidis’s assist and the home side maintained their supremacy and created more chances up until the 35th minute, when Aris equalized at the end of the half at 1-1.
The Double-headed Eagle then went in front again with Bataoulas rising higher than everyone else and scoring with a head in the 50th minute from Papageorgiou’s corner. However, Aris tied the game once more with a goal in the 89th minute.
