Under-19s overcome AEK
The Under-19 team showed composure and consistency on Saturday afternoon, beating AEK 1-0 to add another three points to their tally and move to the top of the table – albeit temporarily – since Olympiacos were due to play later.
In a match that took place on Saturday morning in Souroti for Matchday 21 of the Super League, PAOK’s young guns scored an early goal, missed opportunities to extend their lead, but ultimately held on to the victory, which obviously keeps them on track for the league championship.
The winning goal was scored by Koupenos in the 19th minute, with the assist coming from Balde.
On the next matchday, PAOK travel to Crete to face OFI.
