Under-19's win in Tripoli
PAOK’s Under-19 side won 3-2 away in Tripoli in the postponed Matchday 14 game of the Super League, keeping their title hopes alive. There are six games left, with two of those against Olympiacos.
PAOK took the lead in the 11th minute with a wonderful piece of play from Adam who then found Hatsidis who scored with an impressive strike. Asteras pulled back to 1-1 in the 20th minute, but in the 37th minute, Petros Tsiapakidis’ team took the lead again through Adam’s header, after Tsobanis‘ cross. And three minutes later, the Double-headed Eagle young guns make it 3-1 after Babouras released Papageorgiou who finished clinically. The hosts reduced the deficit to 3-2 in added time at the end of the first half. You would have expected more goals to come in teh second half, but despite being dominant, there were no further goals added with PAOK taking the three points.
