On the opening day of the league, PAOK U17s had suffered their only defeat to-date by PAS Giannina. Against the same team, they recorded their first draw of the season, at Prochoma, in an encounter marked by the visitors’ tough defending.

Despite conceding points, PAOK remain at the top of the standings with 16 points, three clear of Xanthi and five ahead of PAS Giannina.

Alexis Tasoulis’ pupils wasted at least three classic opportunities to break the deadlock, with Chatzidimpas, Konstantinou and Argyriou.
