Six-goal U17s thrash Panthrakikos
PAOK U17s combined attractive football and effectiveness and ran riot at Mesimeriou Ground, thrashing Panthrakikos 6-0 for the Super League. The “Double-Headed Eagle”, who lead the standings and are on their way to the Final Four, broke the deadlock after 31 minutes of play, Liaptsis heading home a cross by Argyriou. In the 49th minute, Chatzidimpas teed up Koutousis for the simplest of finishes. Five minutes later, provider turned to scorer to make it 3-0.
In the 67th minute, Miskovic set up Konstantinou with a clever defense-splitting pass and the latter extended PAOK’s lead to 4-0. A close range tap-in by Paspalas made it five for the “Double-Headed Eagle” in the 73rd minute and, ten minutes later, Konstantinou completed his brace of the day to seal PAOK’s 6-0 victory.
