U15s thrash Xanthi
With such commanding performances, PAOK U15s never fail to prove that they deservedly earned their spot in the Super League final with time to spare. The pupils of Vasilis Mittas and Vasilis Kanaras prevailed 4-0 at Xanthi over the local outfit and are now leading the standings at a 13-point distance from their Wednesday rivals.
Gargalatzidis was awarded a penalty after just four minutes in the game and Lyratzis converted the spot kick for the opener. In the 20th minute, Doumtsis doubled PAOK’s lead with a fine individual effort. Seven minutes later, Lyratzis made it 3-0 from close range teed up by Chatzis and then completed his brace in the 45th minute, collecting an assist by Doumtsis.
The U15s have two fixtures left on their calendar –at home with PAS Giannina and at Agrinio against Panetolikos- before the league final of 8 April to be held at Chania.
