The “Double-Headed Eagle” took the lead early in the encounter, with a lobbed shot by Kizylis following a Tsiatris’s assist in the 3rd minute. Konstantelias made it 2-0 in the 25th minute with a fine individual effort. The visitors reduced distances in minute 54, but Bournelis restored PAOK’s two-goal cushion in the 75th minute teed up by Kitsakis.
