PAOK B secure important away win
A second win in a row, and three valuable points for PAOK B, who defeated Anagennisi Karditsa 3-0 on Matchday 20 of Super League 2.
PAOK went in front in the 20th minute thanks to Kanis’ placed effort, after a great pass from Darelas from the right. The visitors had the frame of the goal to thank those twice, with Talichmanidis happy to see efforts from the hosts hit the woodwork of his goal. PAOK B had the opportunity to double their advantage with a free-kick from Kanis that just went wide in the 43rd minute.
The pace of the game dropped considerably in the second half, with the hosts trying hard to equalize and PAOK seeking to manage the game. But, the game was ended as a contest in the 82nd minute, when Tsopouroglu sent over a cross for Shapovalov who made it 2-0 with a header. The same player, in the 91st minute, stole the ball nicely and scored again to make it 3-0, duly celebrating his first two goals with the black and whites.
