PAOK U11s are proving themselves worthy successors of the former U11 squad who won the Lokoball tournament last season, as they have made it to the final of the tournament’s 2014 edition in Moscow.

The pupils of Vasilis Kanaras, Alexis Alexiadis and Dimitris Taxidis topped their group by defeating CSSP Kuban 2-0 (goals by Tsagalidis and Kouidis) and Tampov Academy 2-1 (goals by Kyzilis and Daskalakis), while they played a 1-1 draw with Kolopliova Academy (Τsapakidis netted PAOK’s goal).

The “Double-Headed Eagle” prevailed 2-1 over Mordovia in the semi-final with a brace by Daskalakis and qualified for Sunday’s final, where they will face Baltika Kaliningrad, who eliminated Lokomotiv Moscow 1-0. Last season, the two sides met in the final and PAOK won 4-3 in the penalty shoot-out.

PAOK U11 squad consists of: Charalampos Stampoulidis, Giannis Gakis, Konstantinos Tsagalidis, Christos Iatrou, Dimitris Kouidis, Giannis Konstantelias, Christoforos Daskalakis, Giorgos Tsapakidis, Giannis Karakoutis, Stathis Kyzilis, Vangelis Adamopoulos, Kostas Delivos, Panagiotis Mantikas, Thanasis Stoinovic.
