September was a great month for PAOK, as they claimed top spot in the league, by playing attractive football, scoring lots of goals and having many players in excellent form. You voted Răzvan Raț as the month MVP once again, the Romanian full-back having topped votes both in August and September.

Raț got 41% of the votes (1.247), leaving Stefanos Athanasiadis behind him with 26% (797), as well as Róbert Mak (18%, 554 votes), Giannis Skondras (11%, 337 votes) and Alexandros Tziolis (4%, 90 votes).

It’s worth mentioning that all candidates for the September honours were called in their respective national teams for October’s Euro 2016 qualifying encounters. The winner of the vote is expected to reach the 100-game milestone on Tuesday when Romania take on Finland in Helsinki.
