PAOK players worked on their physical condition on Monday morning, following their Sunday off. No ball was included in the session supervised entirely by Leonidas Dimitrakopoulos. Stelios Pozatzidis also was at Nea Mesimvria, after returning from his Greece U21 engagements.
Dimitris Papadopoulos and Hedwiges Maduro have picked up their training rhythm and are at the disposal of Angelos Anastasiadis. Facundo Pereyra has been green-lighted by the medical staff, however he is following a special training program to enhance his physical condition.
Giorgos Tzavellas will be submitted to a groin ultrasound on Tuesday morning to assess his recovery progress, following the injury sustained during the league encounter against Niki Volos.
Before Monday’s training session, Stelios Kitsiou, Nikos Spyropoulos, Miguel Vítor, Giorgos Katsikas, Eyal Golasa and Fanis Tzandaris went through blood testing following the recommendation of team doctor Giorgos Ikonomidis, in order to monitor their fatigue level and physical condition altogether.
The rest of PAOK players will also be submitted to blood testing in upcoming days, as the coaching staff aim to adjust trainings to each player’s needs ahead of a tough period with many back-to-back matches.
