He has excellent creative and finishing skills. He can feature on the right or on the left, changing sides with Dimitris Salpingidis and gives a hard time to rival defenders. The man in question, Róbert Mak, was voted Fans Man of the Match for his performance against Niki Volos.
He has already played five matches for PAOK, netting 3 goals and providing 2 assists. He was a joy to watch against Niki Volos. He would slalom his way through Niki´s defence, fired venomous shots, produced quality passes for his teammates and he was rewarded for his performance by getting the nod to convert the penalty awarded to Stefanos Athanasiadis. And duly did so, deservedly adding his name on the scorers’ sheet.
He is quickly becoming a fans’ favourite and everybody is hoping that he will continue his high flights. It’s a pity that the match was behind closed doors and the fans didn’t get to reward him with their applause. They did however vote for him as their “man of the match”. The Slovak attacking midfielder got 54% of the vote, leaving Athanasiadis (19%) and Pereyra (9%) behind him.
