Despite his undoubted skills, he has been on the receiving end of criticism at PAOK. Ever since preseason started, Giorgos Katsikas had stressed that the current season is his last opportunity to establish himself at the “Double-Headed Eagle”. And he seems determined to make the most of that opportunity.
A starter in most matches so far and lining up good performances. The 24-year old defender seems a new player and is enjoying the trust of Angelos Anastasiadis, who dubbed him as a “new transfer for PAOK”.
