After the final whistle of PAOK’s encounter at Agrinio and their 1-0 victory over Panetolikos, Angelos Anastasiadis said that his players were tired and that showed in several missed passes. However the PAOK tactician underlined that the team were deserved winners.
”We could have finished off the encounter quite early, but ended up dreading an equalizer in the last play of the match. That would have been unfair. I am not satisfied though by our performance. The players were tired and it showed in several missed passes. But we were well organized and deserved to win”.
Panetolikos coach Makis Chavos spoke about the “Double-Headed Eagle’s” superiority and admitted that ”PAOK were better throughout the encounter. Our guys had an off day. The best team won. I hope that this defeat will be a valuable lesson for the remainder of the season”.
