About the international break:
“Several guys had joined their respective national teams. We are facing several problems. Athanasiadis got injured and is doubtful for Sunday’s game. Raț isn’s back yet [he returned on Friday and trained normally]. We had little time to work all together and that is bad. However those who remained at Thessaloniki worked well and we are satisfied with their progress. We also managed to get several injured players back in action”.
About the rival:
“We have a tough match ahead against a team who defeated Olympiacos in the previous matchday. Atromitos have a new coach, who did an excellent job at OFI last season. We must be very disciplined, demure and concentrated to win this encounter”.
Did he miss football during the break:
“But I didn’t stop working, we never do. We are at the training ground from morning until evening and from evening until morning”.
What does football mean for him:
“I always remember myself with a ball at my feet. Football is my life!”
What is he expecting on Sunday:
“I am not worried. I have been working a lot. Atromitos are a good side, they will come to Thessaloniki to play their game, but it’s all up to us”.
