Under-17s defeat Athens Kallithea 4-0
PAOK’s Under-17 side recorded another comfortable victory, beating Athens Kallithea 4-0 in a match that took place on Sunday morning in Souroti for the 26th round of the Super League.
PAOK remain in first place in the title race with 51 points from 20 matches, while Olympiacos are on 43 points from 21 games, and OFI third with 42 points (21 matches).
PAOK attacked the game from early on, and in the second minute, Economou made it 1-0 with a close-range shot, after a headed pass by Souvlatzis. The latter then made it 2-0 four minutes later after a wonderful team effort and a final pass by Mengidis. In the 39th minute, Gioka made it 3-0 with a header, after a corner by Aretis, who a minute before … had hit the post with an attempt. The final 4-0 scoreline was chalked up in the 55th minute by Matera with a placed effort, after an assist by Papadopoulos. PAOK also hit the woodwork via Mokris in the 77th minute.
There are six games left until the end of the championship, including the upcoming (12.03), home match against Panserraikos.
