Kotarski’s super save
Dominik Kotarski’s penalty save against Atromitos at the Toumba Stadium was voted by the paokfc.gr audience as the PAOK TV Play of the Month for December and earned Mr. Fantastic another award.
PAOK were maintaining their lead in the game. Atromitos tried to press early in the second half and while the score was 2-0 in PAOK’s favour. In the 59th minute, the visitors won a penalty. Warda took the spot-kick but Dominik Kotarski said «no» to the Egyptian and kept the score the same.
And in the poll for the PAOK TV Play of the Month for December, Kotarski’s save from Warda collected just over 54% of the public’s votes and gave the Croatian the individual award.
In second and third place were the assists of Konstandelias and Chalov against Ferencváros and Panserraikos respectively.
