PAOK FC statement
PAOK FC have released a club statement following the decision of the Primary Disciplinary Committee on 30.12.
With a monumental example of personal targeting, the First Instance Disciplinary Committee is trying to destroy PAOK by depriving the league’s top coach of attending matches almost until the end of the season.
A punishment that does not even come close to those for the caressing of referees’ genitals, headlocks of police officers, and the display of genitals in the opponent’s stands.
The decision of the judges of the First Instance organisational body is the result of a policy that wants the «annoying» Lucescu guilty of all the suffering of Greek football.
The fact that the punishment includes the name of physiotherapist Athanasios Kapoulas, who was in the locker room at the time of the incident, proves that not even this video was examined, but only the complaint by AEK, which is full of fantasies anyway.
It goes without saying that we are waiting for the decision to be corrected by the Appeals Committee.
Furthermore, the first-instance decision informs us about what is and is not acceptable in hosting rival teams. We will respect their decision in an effort to assist their work to combat violence.
PS. AEK FC has chosen the type of rivalry it wants with us, of complaints and additional interventions. We hope that it will ensure that not a single seed falls on its stadium, in any of its matches from now on.
