Preparations for the last match of the year
PAOK are preparing to close out 2024 by welcoming Atromitos to the Toumba Stadium on Sunday (22.12, 19:30). Preparations began in earnest on Thursday afternoon (19.12) in Nea Mesimvria.
The game with AEK is a thing of the past. PAOK lost the first leg 1-0, but everything will be decided in the second leg at the Toumba Stadium on January 9, 2025. Until then, the Double-headed Eagle are focusing exclusively on the upcoming battle with Atromitos for Matchday 16 of the 2024-25 Stoiximan Super League.
The players who were in the starting lineup for the match at the OPAP Arena followed a recovery and rehabilitation program, while the rest of the group worked on tactics and possession, while the players contestred a friendly in the finale of the session.
Jonny Otto followed an individual program on the training pitch, as did Omar Colley . Thomas Murg underwent some physio treatment. Finally, Taison has agreed to have a few extra days off and has traveled to his homeland.
On Friday (20.12) PAOK will train at 10:30.
