Three amazing plays are in the running for the PAOK TV Play of the Month for April. Your votes will decide the winner!
In the game against Lamia at Toumba Stadium Giannis Michailidis produced a brilliant piece of play. Kiril Despodov and Andrija Zivkovic combined a corner, with the Serb curling a sweet cross to the far post. The Greek central defender moved in behind the defensive line of Lamia and equalized for PAOK with a powerful header in added time at the end of the first half.
Dominik Kotarski also is in the frame for the award. The Croatian goalkeeper is a continuous provider of highlights with his saves, such as the one against AEK at the Toumba. Eliasson crossed into the penalty area, the ball went past everyone and ended up at the far post. There Pineda tried to guide the ball home with a one-touch finish but his effort was thwarted by Mr. Fantastic. Kotarski made an incredible instinctive stop to parry the ball wide for a corner and secure a 1-1 draw.
Finally, Konstantinos Koulierakis cannot be left out of the conversation. The Hammer continues his impressive performances which are accompanied by pivotal actions like the one at the Toumba against AEK. Araujo produced a through ball for Jonsson, who only seemed to have Kotarski. But by the time he had controlled the ball, Koulierakis produced a last-gasp tackle to deny the AEK man.
