A reaction needed ahead of big Toumba derby
In Faliro, PAOK missed out on the opportunity to take a significant lead in the title race and now the Double-headed Eagle must be infallible until the end of the Play Offs. But before welcoming the three title contenders at Toumba Stadium, there is a tough battle in Lamia which takes precedence.
A few hours after the team’s return to Thessaloniki and a day before the squad leaves for Lamia, players and technical staff started work ahead of the upcoming match.
The players who were in the starting XI against Olympiacos followed a recovery and rehabilitation program on the pitch, in the swimming pool and in the gym.
The rest of the group worked with the coaches in the field of tactics, through various drills and games.
Ioannis Konstantelias and Ivan Nasberg resumed full training with the squad, while William Troost-Ekong underwent some treatment and did some running work on his own out of the training pitches.
PAOK will be without Andrija Zivkovic , who is suspended, for the game in Lamia.
On Tuesday (23.04) PAOK will train at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria before departing in the afternoon for Lamia.
