The introduction of Iakovos Angelidis in the Board of Directors of PAOK FC was decided in the extraordinary General Assembly of PAOK FC shareholders held yesterday. It was also proposed that the Cypriot barrister, experienced in management of football clubs, would become the president and executive director of PAOK FC. The decision of the General Assembly reads:

“The General Assembly approves the election of Iakovos Angelidis as fifth member of the Board of Directors for the remainder of their tenure, until 2018.

The new Board of Directors consists of the following members:

Iakovos Angelidis
Zisis Vryzas
Maria Goncharova
Ilias Gerontidis
Dimokratis Papadopoulos»

Iakovos Angelidis, who is expected to assume the office of president and executive director of PAOK FC, said to paokfc.gr:

“I am proud of being already a part of PAOK’s family. I am looking forward to assuming my new duties and helping PAOK progress and reach the heights their history and values deserve.

I wish to thank PAOK FC President Mr. Ivan Savvidis for the opportunity handed to me. I am convinced that all of us together, each one from their respective post, we can succeed. We have a long road ahead and we will need patience and determination to overcome the various hurdles on our way.

It is imperative to remain focused and devoted to our mission, combining it with hard work. The outcome will be a modern club that will be the pride of anyone involved.
