First defeat for PAOK B in play outs
PAOK B suffered their first loss of points in the mini-league of the play outs on Sunday at the Kabaniakou stadium, where they were defeated 2-1 by Triglia.
The hosts were more dynamic, had the initiative in the first half and were clearly more threatening. Unsurprisingly then, they took the lead in the 28th minute via Koustas – and while Filon was injured and on the ground during the phase of play – while they doubled their lead in the 37th minute with a direct free-kick by Isnaldos.
PAOK reacted in the second half, circulating the ball better, without however managing to become a major threat. They did manage to cause some panic around the opposing goal with some set pieces, and it was from one of those in the 92nd minute that Darelas reduced the deficit with a header, taking advantage of Goumas’ corner kick.
Next up for PAOK is the postponed match against Kabaniakos.
