PAOK, with a three-goal salvo at the «Apostolos Nikolaidis», left Athens with three important points from their Matchday 2 contest against the Greens in the Stoiximan Super League Play Offs.

Brandon Thomas was one of the top performers on the night. The Spanish forward pressed and harried every opponent he came up against, put in endless running, put in tackle after tackle, won virtually all of the second balls he challenged for and scored once in an outstanding performance that was full of passion, intensity and of course substance.

And so in the Fans’ Man of the Match poll for the match, it came as no sirprise that Brandon collected the majority 44.69% of the votes and claimed the individual award.

Dominik Kotarski was second. The Croatian goalkeeper put in another solid performance, keeping his team in it on numerous occasions, culminating in a superb second-half save from Jedvaj’s header.
