Vote for March’s MVP
Another demanding month came to an end a few days ago and paokfc.gr the the PAOK FC Official App want your votes to pick out the best player of March.
March had its ups and downs but in the end it ended on a positive note. The Play Offs and Round of 16 of the UECL did not start in the most ideal way. PAOK were defeated by Dinamo Zagreb and Aris, but in the end the team managed to rally and qualify for the quarter-finals of the UECL, beat Panathinaikos at «Leoforos», and continue strongly in both competitions.
There were many players who stood out. And so we need your help in getting us out of the difficult position of choosing the top player, the winner of the MVP award of the month for March.
Dominik Kotarski is the first candidate. The Croatian goalkeeper was excellent in all five games in March. He guided his defensive line superbly and made several key interventions both in the second leg match against Dinamo and in the game against Panathinaikos.
Soualiho Meïté is the next contender. The French midfielder was brilliant in all the games he played. He put in a lot of kilometers, he was almost infallible with his movement of the ball, he pushed the team forward at every oportunity, he was flawless in breaking up play, and he showed that he is one of the most important cogs in Razvan Lucescu’s machine.
The third candidate is The Hammer. Konstantinos Koulierakis continues to impress with his performances, the highlight of which came against Dinamo Zagreb at Toumba Stadium. The Greek central defender scored a goal, and his effort ricocheted off a defender to make it 2-0 and he also provided the assist for Baba who opened the scoring.
The fourth contender is the Ghanaian left back himself. Baba scored twice in March and continued his impressive performances in a PAOK shirt. Countless runs, excellent distribution, and flawless in his defensive duties.
Brandon Thomas could also not be left out of the discussion. The Spanish striker scored a wonderful goal with a header in the match against Dinamo Zagreb, scored the second goal against Panathinaikos and handed out an assist in the match against Lamia at the «Athanassios Diakos». At the same time, he gave his heart and soul out on the pitch, with endless running, battling for the ball and endless passion.
Taison is the penultimate candidate. The Brazilian winger has produced so many good performances over the past month, opening the scoring against Lamia in the final game of the regular season, laying on the assist for Brandon to make it 3-0 against Dinamo, oozing character and trying to drag his team-mates out of difficult situations.
Andrija Zivkovic is the seventh and final candidate. The Serbian winger continues his strong performances this season and remains one of the team’s major protagonists. Zile was the man who sealed qualification against Dinamo Zagreb with a well-taken penalty in the 88th minute, while also playing in all of March’s matches with committed performances, always creative and combative, contributing all over the pitch and in all phases of the game.
