From those matches, PAOK have registered six wins, one draw and three defeats Last season, PAOK prevailed in both matches in the Play Offs, with a 2-1 win at the «Kleanthis Vikelidis» in the first round and with 3-2 success at the Toumba in the second round.
- In the in 2021-22 season, Aris registered two victories over PAOK in the Play Offs, which happened for the first time in the history of the two teams’ encounters in the post-season. After those defeats, the Double-headed Eagle went on an unbeaten streak of five games home and away against Aris, which included three wins and two draws. This streak ended in the last meeting between the two teams, when Aris prevailed 2-1 in the second round of this year’s Super League regular season.
- This is the 65th match between PAOK and Aris with the Double-headed Eagle as the home team since 1959-60, when the first iteration of the Grteek top flight was established. PAOK have recorded 34 wins, there have been 19 draws, and Aris have picked up 11 wins.
- PAOK is also dominant in the overall matches for the championship regardless of venue, since the records show 50 wins for PAOK, 45 draws, and 34 wins for Aris.
- 2-0 is PAOK’s favorite scoreline in matches between the two teams, with that result appearing 11 times. The next most popular score is 1-0 with nine appearances, while there have also been two 4-1 wins, in 2009 and 2012.
- On February 16 1975, PAOK recorded its biggest win over Aris when they won 5-0. The gtoals came from Paridis (23’), Koudas (28’, 52’), Tsiligridis (66’), Sarafis (87’), and that triumphant win saw Branko Stankovic lose his job as Aris head coach.
- Giorgos Koudas has scored five goals in derbies against Aris both home and away. The first came on February 27 1966 at Aris, when he had reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the 42nd minute of a match which PAOK ended up losing 5-1. After that match he scored another four times against Aris and he is the joint-leading all-time scorer along with Giorgos Skartados.
- This is the 7th season that the two teams are meeting in the Play Offs. Aris have competed only six times so far in the post-season part of the season.
- The first time for Aris was in the 2007-08 season when PAOK did not participate, while they were together in 2009-10 with PAOK winning 2-0 at the Toumba and Aris winning 3-2 at home in May 19, 2010 in a match that was the last of the season and PAOK had already secured first place.
- This is the 5th consecutive season the two clubs are facing each other. In 2019-20, in the first match that took place – again with Aris as the home side – PAOK prevailed 2-0 (36′ Varela , 44′ Swiderski), while the match at the Toumba ended in a goalless draw.
- In the 2020-21 season, PAOK claimed two victories, 1-0 as the visiting side thanks to Schwab’s (8) goal, and 2-0 at the Toumba with Schwab (69) and A. Zivkovic (90) on the scoresheet.
- The 2021-22 season was the only time PAOK failed to win, with Aris winning both the first match at home (1-0) and the second at the Toumba, 1-0.
- In the 2022-23 campaign, PAOK prevailed 2-1 at Aris (68′ Schwab , 74′ A. Zivkovic – 12′ Palma) and 3-2 at the Toumba (56′ Taison, 62′ Schwab , 78′ A. Zivkovic – 45′ Kamara, 70′ Darida).
