Rehabilitation and Zagreb
The PAOK squad are turning their full attention to the match against Zagreb, with the sole aim of picking up a positive result in view of the return leg at Toumba Stadium.
The team’s preparation started on Tuesday morning (05.03) in Nea Mesimvria. The players who were in the starting XI against Lamia followed a recovery and rehabilitation program in the gym and the swimming pool.
The rest of the group worked in heavy rain on the pitch, mainly on the tactical asprects with an emphasis on possession and circulation of the ball, while they also played out a friendly match.
Ali Samatta limped out of the previous match with a muscle spasm in his lower back. The Tanzanian received some treatment and his condition will be re-evaluated tomorrow. Zivko Zivkovic also skipped training as he continues to suffer from a virus.
On Wednesday (06.03) PAOK will train at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria. The training session will be open for 15 minutes to media representatives.
The Double-headed Eagle squad will leave in the afternoon for Croatia and at 19:30 Razvan Lucescu and Dominik Kotarski will be on duty for the press conference at the Maksimir.
