Under-19’s draw in Peristeri
PAOK’s Under-19 side failed to take advantage of yesterday’s draw between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos and move further clear at the top of the table, as they were too held to a 1-1 draw by Atromitos on Matchday 20 of the Super League.
Although PAOK took an early lead in the 11th minute through Gitersos‘ header, after a free-kick by Papageorgiou, and also had several other chances, they were pegged back in the 23rd minute when the home side equalized. Neither side could find a winning goal, with PAOK coming closest by hitting the woodwork in the 82nd minute, Hatsidis being the unlucky player to be denied.
PAOK do remain at the top, two points clear of Olympiacos, having played one game more.
