Into the final stretch for the derby
The adverse weather conditions in Nea Mesimvria meant that the squad assembled for training at their Toumba Stadium home instead. The preparations for the big top-of-the-table derby clash against Panathinaikos are entering the final stretch.
The team’s training playbook was again devoted to the field of tactics, with build-up play and ball circulation being the main aspects on the agenda, while in the latter part of the session the players were divided into groups – defenders and attackers – and worked separately on finishing and positioning.
Andre Vieirinha is the only player not involved in full training. The captain contiued to follow his individual training program out on the training pitches separatel as he works his way back to full fitness.
On Saturday (27.01) PAOK will train at 17:45 at the Toumba.
