Konstantelias’ work of art
Ioannis Konstanttelias’ magic piece of play at the “Georgios Karaiskakis” against Olympiacos came out on top in the vote for the PAOK TV Play of the Month for November.
Many could rightly consider that the 56.48% of the vote that Mr.Breeze’s impressive piece of play against Olympiacos is a low number, and that’s because Dominik Kotarski made it a strong competition with two amazing saves in two decisive matches. Despite this, however, the PAOK fanbase had no difficulty in deciding.
In the game against Olympiacos with the score at 3-0 to PAOK, Konstantelias surged into the penalty area with the ball following a great team effort. He side-stepped Paschalakis in the home goal with a superb dribble, and then served up a memorable assist with a cheeky backheel to Ozdoev , and the Russian had the easy task of firing the ball into an empty net to round off the scoring at 4-0.
Naturally then, Konstantelias picked up another individual award, this time for the PAOK TV Play Of The Month for November.
In second place was Kotarski’s save against Eintracht with 23.26%, and the Double-headed Eagle’s shot-stopper also got third place with his save against Olympiacos with 20.27%.
