Under-19’s defeat Kifissia 3-0
PAOK’s Under-19 side recorded a comfortable 3-0 victory over Kifissia, in the previously postponed game from Matchday 2 of the Super League, with Petros Tsiapakidis’ team holding onto top spot and already preparing for the mid-week trip to Athens, where next Wednesday (20.12) they face AEK in the last match of the year.
It took PAOK until the 31st minute to take the lead through Tsobanis, who profited from a Deligiannis assist, and then the home side turned up the heat in the second half, adding two more goals, a cluth of missed chances – including being denied by the woodwork. Babouras made it 2-0 from Papageorgiou’s pass in the 56th minute, and in the 86th minute, Mythos took advantage of the goalkeeper’s poor save from Hatsidis’ shot, ramming hom the rebound to make the final score 3-0. In the 91st minute, Kalaitsidis was denied by the crossbar.
